Location. It was pretty close to good food, especially all of the Tau Fu Fah shops and Ipoh Parade. The buffet breakfast was good too if you don't mind a Malaysian breakfast e.g. half boiled eggs and toast, nasi lemak, curry laksa, soy milk etc. It was quiet and had a really nice view of the mountains from our room. There was also a free courtesy shuttle to the train station, which was great for us as we had 3 big suitcases with us.

Interior design of the room and the common areas e.g. lobby, seating area at every floor - aesthetically pleasing, warm and cosy ambience Front desk service- the receptionists are young, so they are earnest, cheerful and in particular, patient with any questions I had. They are warm and very delightful to talk to. I enjoyed the small chats with them. I can see that there is good working relationship. They are happy, so they make the guests happy. Shuttle service - driver was helpful, very pleasant to talk to, and has good work attitude, the van was kept clean

The two things that matter most to us in a hotel is it needs to be clean and quiet. They got a perfect score on both of these. Lifts were fast, staff very helpful & friendly, and breakfast was good. It was just over a km to the historic area, so the location worked fine for us. Rooms are quite small and there are some stains here and there on the carpets but those are just picky things and the rooms, and the hotel in general, are overall very comfortable and we would stay here again.

Hotel was clean and fairly new. Room was also clean, a bit small but more than adequate for an overnight sleep. My 2nd time staying at the hotel, so I am a satisfied customer. Good value for money and if you would like to explore the old Ipoh town, the location is great

First time staying at the hotel, we enjoyed our stay there. Services were prompt and good, staff always put on their best smile and willing to assist whenever ask. Love the breakfast spread which changed daily, breakfast environment always tidy and clean. We took the hotel free shuttle from/to the airport and the arrangement was straight forward. Hotel location is convenient, with eateries all around and within short walking distance, just need to watch the two-way traffic when crossing the streets.

The staffs are very helpful, taking the initiative to look out for the information that was needed by us when we tried to find out a bus to go to KL. The breakfast is absolutely fantastic. Lots of variety! The room was quiet during the whole night of rest and lots of TV programs we could choose to watch. The mattress was comfy to enable us to sleep through the night comfortably! ( Firmness just enough; not too soft and not too hard).

The friendly hotel staff is the main reason to return to this hotel, especially the hotel concierge driver, who drove us to the attraction place explaining the history and information. Overall, the hotel is clean, vibrant, and modern. To all MU staff, taking this opportunity to Thanks everyone for your great hospitality and smiles 😃

We were greeted with a very friendly front desk staff and always had a smile on her face while serving us during check-in. Our family also love our family room (610) and the mountain view! Breakfast was nothing fancy, but it was simple and good.
